Born in Corsica, with French and Vietnamese roots, Charly Molinelli creates pieces that inhabit both physical space and the imagination. Furniture can welcome us, serve a purpose and accompany everyday life. It can also intrigue, spark an encounter or become the subject of a conversation.
His work explores this dual presence: what an object does and how it makes us feel. Volumes, materials and references come together in forms with a character of their own.
As designer and cofounder of Nine Exclusive, he conceives the creations and leads the studio’s artistic vision.

What remains of the myth.
A Ferrari is recognised by its lines. Here, they have disappeared.
Beneath the glass, the compressed bodywork reveals its folds, hollows and scars. Yet the name alone evokes a world of speed, prestige and the desire to possess. The car has lost its silhouette. Its power of attraction remains.
Created in 2011, before Nine Exclusive was founded, the Crashed Ferrari Table places this contradiction at the heart of an everyday object. We sit around it. We set a glass on top. Within, damaged material continues to captivate the eye.
This piece already reveals the impulse behind Charly’s creations: to give furniture a presence that reaches beyond its use.
