Nine Exclusive
Frequently asked questions.
One creation, one physical piece. From the original intention through to fabrication, Charly Molinelli is involved in every Nine piece. Discover this approach and the conversations surrounding the acquisition of a creation.
Why is every Nine creation a one-off?
The one-off piece is at the heart of Nine Exclusive. Each design is a creation in its own right, made as a single physical piece. It belongs to no series and will never be reissued.
What is Charly Molinelli’s role in each piece?
Charly Molinelli is the designer behind every Nine creation. He is involved throughout the process, from the first drawing through to production. He carries the vision for the piece and guides the decisions that give it its form, material and presence.
How does the design take shape during fabrication?
The work continues beyond the drawing. Charly follows the development of the piece and is involved in its fabrication, maintaining the connection between the original intention and the finished work. Proportions, materials, assembly and finishes are all part of that continuity.
Can a piece be reproduced after it has been sold?
No. A Nine design is never reproduced or reissued, including in a different material, colour or size. Acquiring a piece does not trigger the production of another example.
What can I discover on a creation’s page?
Each page introduces the piece through its images, design intention and details. The information specific to that creation offers a closer understanding of its design and its presence in a space. The studio can continue the conversation about the piece that interests you.
How can I find out whether a piece is available and see it?
A creation’s presence in the collection does not mean it is available to acquire. Let the studio know which piece interests you to learn about its current status and the possibilities for a presentation.
How can I consider a piece for an interior or an exhibition?
Tell us which creation interests you and the setting: a private interior, an architectural project, a gallery or an exhibition venue. The conversation centres on that particular piece, its proportions and its place in your space or presentation.
Can I discuss a private commission?
A private commission can begin a conversation with the studio about a new creation. It results in a distinct piece and never serves as a variation or reproduction of an existing design.
How do I acquire a one-of-a-kind piece?
Acquisition begins with a direct conversation with the studio about the creation in question. Availability, presentation and acquisition terms are established for that specific piece. Transport and handling are considered according to its characteristics and destination.
